Starting January 11, 2002, IRS will accept credit card payments either by phone or over the Internet through its vendor, Official Payments.  The payments can be made for current year delinquent tax payments or for installment agreements for the current year and for tax years 1998, 1999, and 2000.  For more information, go the Official Payments Web site, www.officialpayments.com.
